Hi everyone! I wanted to give you an update on the future of Moody Voodies.
When I put the word out last month that we were closing up shop, we did not expect the outpouring of love we received. 🥹
I honestly thought nobody cared anymore. Because, with the exception of a faithful few, we just hadn't really seen anything in the way of engagement. Anywhere.
And maybe that would be okay if it weren't for the fact that we are working harder and longer than we ever have, but somehow earning less. It made me wonder what the point is. Why are we killing ourselves for this. Why do we want a life of stress, where we only take one day off a month and can't really spend time with each other anymore. Especially if nobody else cares.
But it seems you do.
We received loads of messages from people upset to hear about us closing, in part because there are dolls they've always wanted, but never had a chance to get.
Well... It seems you'll get your chance! We're going to stick around for a little while longer and make sure you're able to get what you need.
However, this is only a temporary reprieve. We do plan to shift gears in 2024 and, hopefully, move on to other creative endeavors that might allow us to actually live, rather than simply survive.
I'm hoping that the new year allows us to be who we truly want to be: happier people, with the ability to give and pay it forward and give even more.
We're gonna try to make that happen.
