Made with cotton fabrics. Her face is stitched and distressed with ink and her hair is made with wooly yarn and glued into place. It is purposely styled in a messy updo. 

A voodoo symbol is drawn on her head. The symbol is OCH which, according to Wikipedia, "prolongs life to six hundred years, with perfect health therein". 

*We should probably mention here that you will not live to 600 years by purchasing this doll. However, if you do, you can thank us by erecting statues of us in the future.
