This melancholy maiden is fashioned from various cotton and polyester fabrics. Her face is stitched and distressed, and she has yarn hair, which is glued into place. Her arms are sewn together to hold her book but, alas, the book is only a prop and does not open.

All distressing is deliberate and done with inks.
