This photo is a view from one of our only 3 windows. (In case you think you're feeling confined.)
I hope you’re navigating all this craziness without any major difficulties. We're doing okay here, but mild anxiety is always lingering. (Nothing seems to bother Lee, though. Is that a guy thing?)
I find I have to step away from news and social media for a couple days at a time just to stay balanced -- so if you're having trouble sleeping at night, I recommend doing the same. It really does help.
Keeping a sense of humor is also important. Weirdly, laughter somehow feels more potent than it ever has before. I find myself laughing a bit too hard at something that may have only been mildly amusing pre-pandemic. Or maybe the 2.5 weeks of quarantine is finally catching up and I’m going a bit mad. (This is possible, because the jokes I’ve been laughing at have mostly been my own, and I’m not even funny.)
Lee: “Why is it I can only find one sock from every pair? Where are all the others?”
(I know. I'll see myself out.)
Given everything going on in the world right now, we want to tell you how grateful we are that you guys are still asking for customs and purchasing our dolls. Whether or not this continues to be the case throughout this pandemic remains to be seen, but we so appreciate that you’re there. Not only because we need this for our survival, but also because it provides a sense of normalcy in otherwise surreal times.
If you find you’re feeling a little too lonely or anxious, send us a message: MoodyVoodies@gmail.com Tell us how you’re coping, discuss with us the mysteries of the universe, life after death… whatever interests you. We’ll be here. We have no choice. Lol
Stay safe, everyone. Don’t go out if you don’t have to, and keep washing those hands till your skin falls off.
P.S. Am I the only one who thinks it’s crazy that every single person in every tv commercial is going through the same thing we are? I mean, Jake from State Farm is also social distancing! Crazy, crazy times…
